![]() There are shed loads of 600s around in the UK It was the gun that made Miroku's name and it's also quite likely that yours is/was a trap version although it may have been sporterised with a sporter stock (& possibly forend). ![]() I believe that Miroku started using the Browning date coding at the same time. ![]() The date of the birth of the Citori is not quite certain but was either 1972 or 73 depending which history you read. The 600 is an early example of Miroku's version of the original Browning Superposed and and pre-dates the adoption of it by Browning for the Citoris. Never heard the name "Stirling" before, maybe it was specially named for Oz. I'm not the Miroku history expert Salopian is the one you need here, but I'll tell you what I can.
